Making Main Line Animal Rescue a Part of Your Legacy

Combine your personal and philanthropic goals by making MLAR a part of your future financial and estate planning. Some of the most common strategies to make an impact at MLAR in the future include:

- Naming MLAR in your will or revocable trust
- Specifying MLAR as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance
- Establishing a charitable gift annuity with MLAR that provides tax benefits and income for life

Sample Bequest Language

The following sample language in your will or revocable trust ensures that MLAR will benefit from your generosity and link your legacy with the continuing health and safety of the animals of Chester County: “I give ________ (specific dollar amount or percentage) to the Main Line Animal Rescue, of Phoenixville, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, for its general purposes.”

Retirement Accounts and Life Insurance Policies

A simple method for including MLAR in your financial and estate planning is to name us as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy. The process is simple and can generally be done online or by completing a beneficiary designation form provided by your account administrator.

The 1867 Society at Main Line Animal Rescue

Thanks to the new partnership between these two organizations, members of the Main Line Animal Rescue community who have taken the steps to make a future gift to MLAR are also now members of the Pennsylvania SPCA’s 1867 Society as well. Main Line Animal Rescue appreciates the thoughtfulness and creativity of those members of our community who have chosen to include us in their future philanthropy. The 1867 Society is our way of recognizing this generosity. If you have already included us in your plans you are already a member; please reach out to let us know and we will be happy to officially welcome you!
