Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. A fundamental tenet of Main Line Animal Rescue's mission is that we do not discriminate on the basis of age when helping animals in need. For Giving Tuesday 2017 we raised funds to help senior animals who have nowhere else to go simply due to their age. Some have come from puppy mills where they have spent their entire lives in wire cages. Some have been abandoned by families who wanted a younger puppy or kitten. Some have bounced from shelter to shelter, looking for a place that would give them a chance to shine. Though they come from different backgrounds they all need our help. Thank you to everyone who contributed to MLAR on Giving Tuesday and helped make an ordinary Tuesday something extraordinary! If you missed Giving Tuesday, you can still donate now to support the continued care for animals in need.

Thank You!

Main Line Animal Rescue receives no state or federal funding and has never charged an adoption fee; we are 100% funded by charitable donations. Thank you for your support on Giving Tuesday and throughout the year. Without your help we would not be able to carry out our mission to rescue abused, unwanted, and abandoned animals who have nowhere else to turn.
