“Gayle” the Cocker Spaniel “threw” nine puppies every time the farmer bred her. But her days as a breeding dog were over the day we rescued her. The breeder told us that she had produced only three puppies in her last litter and he wouldn’t breed her again. Fearing that she might be destroyed, we convinced him to let us take her (find out more about what happens to many breeding dogs in Pennsylvania’s commercial breeding facilities when they can no longer produce puppies www.pacashcrop.com. “Gayle” was recently adopted by a very nice family and is now happy in her new home. If you watch the Oprah program, Gayle is one of the dogs stacked in the upper cages in that small shed, frantically trying to get out.
