If you think your pet ate something potentially dangerous, call this number immediately, or get your dog or cat to a vet hospital as soon as possible. The names of emergency veterinarians who are open twenty-four hours a day can be found in your phone book or ask your primary vet for a recommendation. Keep this number on your refrigerator.
